Lata Ulu Chepor

Lata Ulu Chepor, a place that suitable for organising training camp or bonding camp for secondary school uniformed groups like scout and Kadet Remaja or even for company organisation. It provides many facilities that suit for campaign and moreover, it also recommend for working adults to spend their time with their family here, to enjoy the beauty of nature and to relax and escape from the stressful working lifestyle. 

Lata Ulu Chepor, located just 10km from Ipoh city and it was surrounded by hills and tropical rainforest. Lata Ulu Chepor can be reached by using Chemor Road (Route A1) near the Ipoh North Toll Plaza. There was a signboard at the roadside from the main road heading to Chemor town as shown below. 

Turn into the junction, there was only one way going into Lata Ulu Chepor. It will go through a Malay village and a mosque and straight along the way until the entrance. 


The admission was free but the village committee will collect the parking fees from the visitors which cost RM0.50 for motorcycle, RM2 for car and RM3 for bus.

Looking towards the facilities, Lata Ulu Chepor provided the following facilities to visitors such as :

· Multi-purpose hall

· Rental rest huts

· Chalets

· Toilets and bathrooms

The Multi-purpose Hall was provided with lamps and fans as well as electricity. It was suitable for carry out activities and discussion at here. The rental for the Multi-purpose hall is RM70 per day. There was a large area for car parking in front of the Multi-purpose hall and toilet and bathrooms are provided beside the Multi-purpose hall too. In additional, there were also some large area behind the Multi-purpose hall that suitable to carry out activities and games during bonding camp or training camp.


Group discussion and activities can be carried out in Multi-purpose hall.

Lamps, fans and electricity were provided in Multi-purpose Hall. 
There was a bridge that allows to go to the large area behind Multi-purpose hall. Activities and games can be carried out in this area behind Multi-purpose hall.

There was few rest hut along the roadside to the Multi-purpose hall. There are two types of rest hunt which were concrete rest hunt and wooden rest hunt and their price rate were RM8 and RM4 respectively.

Concrete rest hunt with price rate RM8 per day.
Wooden rest hunt with price rate RM4 per day.
Other than rest hunt, there were also chalets which were available for visitor to stay overnight in Lata Ulu Chepor. There were 2 types of chalets which were concrete chalet that cost RM80 per night and wooden chalet cost RM60 per night.

In conclusion, Lata Ulu Chepor was very suitable for organising training camp or bonding camp towards teenagers or secondary school uniformed groups. It recommended for working adults to spend time with family member in order to escape from the stressful working lifestyle and to enhance family relationship.

Ipoh Railway Station

The Ipoh Railway Station is one of the attractive place for the public and tourists. In the night time, there are some food store will sell their food and beverages over there; still have roller blades, skateboard and trikkes for rent. This is the cause why there are a bunch of people move to Ipoh Railway Station for relaxing and working. Also, it became a place for those couples and family come for dating and family gathering.

They are renting out roller blades, skateboard and trikkes to the public.
The first time she try trikkes and she feel nervous.
Besides Ipoh Railway Station, around the Kinta Front River is also a place for gathering and dating. At the place, there are a lot of shops are selling food and beverages; for example Western food, spaghetti, coffee and etc. Not only Food and beverages, as the spot bears a beautiful scene, nevertheless deliver a shop is renting bicycles to customers. Cycling together with our own lover is the perfect thing in our lifetime. We can relax and enjoy the time over there.

DR Park

D.R. Seenivasagam Park, once in the past known as Coronation Park, was set up in 1960 and named after the conspicuous and all around natured lawmaker, D R Seenivasagam who was the previous Ipoh councilor and MP. To local people anyway, it is also called D.R. Park.The D.R. Seenivasagam Park is situated in the heart of Ipoh. This park well known for its picturesque magnificence and recreational facilities. It includes recreational fields, a fake lake loaded with fish, a nursery for pruned plants and a youngsters' movement play area. The most recent expansion is the recently arranged Japanese patio nursery highlighting a Japanese carp lake. Consequently, Ipoh individuals’ affection to do exercise in this spot.

An early morning walk in DR Park is a blessing for whole day
An early morning walk is one of the best exercise for a solid life. It gives us a feeling of bliss, quiets our upset nerves, and unwinds the psyche, body and soul. The fresh oxygen we can obtained at DR. Park in the early hours of a morning. The freshness and fog that you feel in the early morning is surely an extravagance and practically select as well.

This park is very Comfort to do aerobic dance exercise because the place was very quiet with full of natural. Thus twice a week a bunch of people gather here to do aerobic dance exercise.

These people is playing Tai- Chi.
A group of Chinese people gather here in every morning to do tai chi exercise. This place is very suitable to old people to do the tai chi exercise because this place surrounded by full of natural view and fresh air.

Dr park is include with football field. In the urban life most of the children not has place to play but Ipoh children axceed from it. They have a perfect place for axercising and playing especially football player enjoy in this place.


Menglembu Hill

Everyone really likes to do exercise. Hiking is also one of the exercise. There are many best places to do hiking in MALAYSIA, so one of the place is Menglembu Hill in Ipoh. Menglembu hill is also called as Gunung Kledang from the people around the place.

As indicated by the rundown of main 300, demonstrates that from the heap of MALAYSIA, Menglembu Slope make the 245th most elevated, it is a result of the most elevated point it is 2651 feet or 808 meters over the ocean level.

Eco Park

After a 30-minute rough drive from PLUS Hight Way, Ipoh along a winding Gunung Rapat street filled with potholes and hindrances, we achieved the beautiful passageway of the notable Eco Park. The park offers activities for specific needs, like exercise. 
This park is one of the part of Bandar Seri Botani residential development and located at Ipoh. It welcomes the public for recreational purposes and not only specifically for residents of the area. We choose this park because this park very popular for exercise like walking, jogging, kayaking, running and playing. Ipoh citizen give first priority to health conscious. Thus, they choose this place to do exercise.

A lot of Parents will bring their children to enjoy a day.
When people walking here, there will get fresh air and physically and mentally they are get peace. Eco Park really a nice place to enjoy.

Heritage

The theme today for Photography is Heritage, there are many old heritage building around Perak. Kellie's Castle is one of the point for photo shooting in Perak. There is rumors trusted that Kellie's Castle has shrouded rooms and a mystery burrow. During public holiday, crowed of people will visit this history building.

Besides that, this building with a beautiful majestic exterior, newly landscaped garden/ greenery, interesting interior full of secret doors and rich history, it is a great location for wedding shooting. The whole place like maze. The bricks walls give it a rustic and mysterious feel. With the right angle, the photographer can produce a stunning image of the historic architecture.

Culture

We finalized few places must take photographs in perak. The theme of these places is culture, you must keep these memories in photograph!

Concubine Lane is one of the attraction in Ipoh, it has over 100 years history. The name of the lane sound weird, but there is actually a history behind this. Long time ago, this lane was a place of vice activity, few years later, it became a residential area for Chinese men kept their mistresses or concubines.
During holiday, there is large crowd of people.

In this 5 years time, this lane has so much changes, it is getting more and more prosperous and bustling, but some of the building here showing signs of age and neglect. A lot of people come over here to take photos. 
You can found souvenir at here as well.

Next, wall art is one of symbolic culture in Ipoh. Most of the people do not know Ipoh have many beautiful wall art. These are the latest collection of Ipoh Wall Art Murals are painted by Ernest Zacharevic, the same man who painted murals on walls along the streets of Penang's Georgetown.
It shows a man making a living in the town of Ipoh by stacking black plastic bags containing rubbish or recyclable items onto a trishaw. 
This Chinese-style painted mural shows Ipoh's evolution from a tin-mining town back in the colonial days.
