Lata Ulu Chepor

Lata Ulu Chepor, a place that suitable for organising training camp or bonding camp for secondary school uniformed groups like scout and Kadet Remaja or even for company organisation. It provides many facilities that suit for campaign and moreover, it also recommend for working adults to spend their time with their family here, to enjoy the beauty of nature and to relax and escape from the stressful working lifestyle. 

Lata Ulu Chepor, located just 10km from Ipoh city and it was surrounded by hills and tropical rainforest. Lata Ulu Chepor can be reached by using Chemor Road (Route A1) near the Ipoh North Toll Plaza. There was a signboard at the roadside from the main road heading to Chemor town as shown below. 

Turn into the junction, there was only one way going into Lata Ulu Chepor. It will go through a Malay village and a mosque and straight along the way until the entrance. 


The admission was free but the village committee will collect the parking fees from the visitors which cost RM0.50 for motorcycle, RM2 for car and RM3 for bus.

Looking towards the facilities, Lata Ulu Chepor provided the following facilities to visitors such as :

· Multi-purpose hall

· Rental rest huts

· Chalets

· Toilets and bathrooms

The Multi-purpose Hall was provided with lamps and fans as well as electricity. It was suitable for carry out activities and discussion at here. The rental for the Multi-purpose hall is RM70 per day. There was a large area for car parking in front of the Multi-purpose hall and toilet and bathrooms are provided beside the Multi-purpose hall too. In additional, there were also some large area behind the Multi-purpose hall that suitable to carry out activities and games during bonding camp or training camp.


Group discussion and activities can be carried out in Multi-purpose hall. 

Multi purpose Hall

Lamps, fans and electricity were provided in Multi-purpose Hall. 
There was a bridge that allows to go to the large area behind Multi-purpose hall. Activities and games can be carried out in this area behind Multi-purpose hall.

There was few rest hut along the roadside to the Multi-purpose hall. There are two types of rest hunt which were concrete rest hunt and wooden rest hunt and their price rate were RM8 and RM4 respectively.

Concrete rest hunt with price rate RM8 per day.
Wooden rest hunt with price rate RM4 per day.
Other than rest hunt, there were also chalets which were available for visitor to stay overnight in Lata Ulu Chepor. There were 2 types of chalets which were concrete chalet that cost RM80 per night and wooden chalet cost RM60 per night.

In conclusion, Lata Ulu Chepor was very suitable for organising training camp or bonding camp towards teenagers or secondary school uniformed groups. It recommended for working adults to spend time with family member in order to escape from the stressful working lifestyle and to enhance family relationship.
